How do I allow Clients and Trainers to change their time zone?

If your clients or trainers reside in a different region than your business, AthletaDesk can allow them to adjust their time zone accurately. Here's how to enable this feature: 

  1. Click on your name in the top right-hand corner and select "Business Settings" from the drop-down menu.  

  1. In the "General" tab, select "Allow trainers and clients to select a different time zone than yours"

  2. Click "Save Changes".  

Your clients will now be able to adjust their time zone from the Client Portal with these steps:  

  1. Click their name in the top right corner and select "Profile Settings" from the drop down menu.
  2. Click the "Edit" icon by their name
  3. Select the correct time zone from the drop down.
  4. Click "OK" to save.

Note: Only Account Contacts will have the ability to change the time zone from the Client Portal. 

Trainers can change their time zone with these steps:

  1. Click their name in the top right-hand corner and select "My Preferences" from the drop-down menu
  2. Click the "Edit" icon beside their profile card
  3. Adjust their time zone and click "Save"

You can change their time zone on their behalf with these steps:

  1. Go to the "Trainers & Staff" menu
  2. Click their name
  3. Click the "Edit" icon beside their profile card
  4. Update their time zone
  5. Click "Save"

Note: Trainers and staff members cannot be set to a unique time zone if they have the "Add/view invoices and accounts" or "add/edit expenses and other revenue" privileges enabled. Administrators and any staff with the ability to access financial details must view the account in the business' time zone.
