Accepting payments through Stripe is very easy.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Click "Settings" in the top right-hand corner and select "Business Settings" from the drop-down.
  2. Select the "Online Payments" tab.
  3. Choose "Stripe".
  4. Click the "Connect with Stripe" button that appears.
  5. You will be redirected to Stripe to complete registration.
    **If you are an existing Stripe user, click sign-in in the top-right corner of the registration page.**
  6. Once complete, click "Authorize access to this account".
  7. Once you return to your AthletaDesk account, choose the currency you wish to accept payments in.
  8. Choose an "Expense Category" for the Stripe fees (this is the fee that Stripe charges per transaction). If you want to create a new category, add it from the "Expenses & Other Income" page.
  9. Click "Save" to save these changes.

Once that's completed, AthletaDesk will automatically:

  • Add a "Make Payment" button on the "Account & Invoices" tab in the athlete portal (this is only visible to adult athletes and parents).
  • Add a "Click Here to Pay Online" link to the footer of your invoices.

Payments made through either link will automatically be tracked and assigned to the correct family in AthletaDesk.
